Online Services

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

Nurse appointments are available online however only certain types of procedures can be booked. You can choose from B12, Bloods and smear. Appointments with the nurse for any other reason will need to be booked directly with the practice.  You will only be able to be seen for the one thing you have booked in for.

IMPORTANT

From September 2019 pharmacies will not be able to order your medication on your behalf. You will need to order your repeat prescriptions directly from your GP practice by either ordering online (if you are not already registered for patient online services then please speak to a member of reception) or using the white tear off part of your repeat prescription and identifying the medications you require.

Remember your GP practice and pharmacy need time to prepare and dispense your prescriptions. Please DO NOT leave ordering your prescriptions to last minute. We do not issue same day prescriptions. If you order your prescription before 6pm on a working day they will be ready the following working day after 3:30pm. Therefore if you order on a Saturday or a Sunday we process your order on a Monday (excluding bank holidays) and it will be ready for collection on following Tuesday after 3:30pm. We do not take repeat prescription orders over the phone.

A letter will be sent out to all patients with regards to the above from the CCG week commencing 5/8/19.
